Infection

Get down to the root of the pain,
Annihilate every problem with the drugs.
Erase every trace before the sickness spreads-
It's been spreading to the safety of the other side.

A patch of white, smoothed over.
Grey surface forms over time.
Holes in my tongue,
Split down the center.

Scream-
The blood-curdling orifices are overflowing.

Mucous membranes have deteriorated,
And I choke on the tissues that make up my mouth.
Not much can hold my taste down to the floor;
The clippers have disfigured my speech.

Cannot eat or drink,
And I kill myself to sleep and dream.
