Last night I dreamt a dreamless dream, for sleep did not come to me.

Instead I wished I wish I were, with someone someday somewhere near.

Frozen inside outside all around, warmth only recovered at salty tears found.

So sad, you see, it is to be me, a selfish contingency that will never be.

Void filled with naught not knowing with what, futures still be told misfit or not.

Reflections reflecting rain deep in, desireless dream replete of chagrine.
