Kismet

Kismet smiles and frowns at will,
Always bestowed with whimsical fancy
Fortune, windfall, foul or fell
Whispering winds of time may tell

And reach out to clutch that glitter-gold
To bet it all, nothing or two-fold
For gambling lust is upon you soul
No, no, you have no control

Lady luck spares you a passing glance
Lets bet all on a lucky chance
And think not of losing again
Wasn’t it, “no gain, no pain”?

And grasp that dice, that potent seed
It cuts, but you cannot feel it bleed
Win, lose, draw or bet
It will never end at just that

Would you care for another round?
