The 6 AM moon
Is red with gloom
But I'm already out at sea
I'm sailing in the foam
So far from home
And my heart is starting to bleed
I'm trying to sing
But I'm hearing a ring
Of the looming wave, so strong
It pulls me beside it
So stealthy, so quiet
And I know this feeling is wrong
My thought, it thrashes
The wave, it splashes
And washes my hopes away
The 6 AM moon
Is red with glom
It tells me I'm drowning today
