Standing before an Alter,

Facing my Reflection,

The penetrating glass,

Candlelight blue,

Stands still through streaks of water,

Coiled in Light.

Cowering beside the Light

Any power lies in the Alter

Fragile waves of whispering water

Stares up at me in Reflection.

Rippling strings of blue

Slide through his region like glass.

His smile cracks the glass

And banishes the Light

A grin that icicles bits of blue...

I rise and stand behind the Alter

Fear streches in my eyes with a glaring Refection

Down my face, a caressing streak of water.

The worry is in the water

And cuts my cheek like glass

Cringing is the Reflection

Trembling from the power of the Light

That sweels from the wooden boards of the Alter

And Reflecting as the glass turns a tarnishing blue.

Why shine blue?

Has the water betrayed me?

I no longer see through the Alter

With the broken pieces of glass

Shining in dull Light.

I cry to escape my Reflection.

Screeching forms in the depth of Reflection

As his words turn blue

And stop still in the Light

The evaporating water

Leaves trailing shards of glass

Hiding under the powerful Alter.

Reflection stares at the forgotten water

And with blue fingers, caresses the glass,

As I sing with the Light in the Alter.
