The Night

Dark and deep is the night,

All is silent and there is no light.

The stars are the only source,

No light shines on but don’t have remorse.

People love the dark, and some are full of fright.

Dark and deep is the night.

Some things live in the dark,

And some of them like to make their mark.

Bats and other animals love this time,

Only because they love the life of crime.

Dark and deep is the night.

And these animals have the best of sight.

Many other things reside there,

And many of the things do not care.

So protect yourself with all your might,
