I want to know, what being alone is like,
is it sitting in an empty room,
or is it sitting in a room full of people,
with no one to talk to.

I want to know, what pain is like
is it a slice across your wrist,
or is it watching a friend,
slit theirs.

I want to know, what love is like,
is it smile on a face, or a caring embrace
or is it always being there,
when they don't think they have anyone.

I want to know, what hatred is,
is it a feeling of annoyance towards a person,
or is a disease,
that consumes the mind?

I want to know, what bliss is,
is it what people call heaven,
or is it sitting with your friends,
and just having fun.

I want to know, what a family is,
is it the people who are supposed to love you,
or is it the people who are always there,
no matter what.

I want ot know..........
