Working on an evil project, so I'm just going to take a moment to post this. It's the only good piece of writing I have for Cherish Me. )

Cherish: "Lovey-dovey emotions are for people with lots of free time, and I just don't--"

Bennerick: "Horse excrement! Love is something everyone feels and needs. It's as indiscriminatory as hate."

Cherish: "And that's something you're an expert on, isn't it, Ben? You hate everyone."

Bennerick: "..."

Cherish: "Aren't you even going to try to deny it?"

Bennerick: "There is no sense in denying the truth."

Cherish: "So you admit that you don't really buy into love either."

Bennerick: "I never said that! Look, m'Lady, sometimes you believe in something based on pure faith. Haven't you ever accepted anything as truth without seeing some
kind of evidence first?"

Cherish: "A fine question coming from a cynic."

Bennerick: "A cynic I am, and a cynic I'll remain. That does not govern my entire existence. I don't know what kind of blinders you've about you, m'Lady, but if you'll permit me to loose them--"

Cherish: "Stop talking like a cheesy Camelot novel!!"

Bennerick: (confused) "M'Lady?"

Cherish: "I... I'm sorry. It's late, I guess I'm just tired. Maybe I'll just--"

Bennerick: "Half a moment. I just want you to know that people don't fit into little molds that explain and predict their every action. That's not how humanity works."
