the media feeds us on cynicism and hate
government control is seeping in
politically correct became incorrect

and everyone and everyone
is brainwashed day to day
but they can't see it
they just operate
(Aldous Huxley got it right
drugs to help us sleep at night)

you still believe you're always right
but you just act your life
following the others, just like them
same blurred perception

and everyone and everyone
is no-one any more
they just blur into one
and watch another war
(that's what Orwell saw
with "1984")
