And when the midday sun

Shone upon my upturned face,

I knew my heart had won,

And found its resting place.

Wand'ring, searching, seeking love

I'd traveled far and near.

Looking for an angel from above,

Which I found in you my dear.

You have a heart of the purest gold,

And a caring, compassionate soul.

No if I may be so bold,

Me, this monstrous gruesome troll,

Now I do say the sun, on me, won't shine,

Until the day that you are forever mine.
