A victim of the changing tide,

I'll cry and cry forever more.

My heart to the world I'll hide,

Close and lock its loving door.

Only you could see me clearly

While others saw a hallucination.

Even I look at myself and see

A dreadfully monstrous degeneration.

I can't be worthy of one like you,
