No matter how good the make,

No matter how well it's made

With your touch it will break.

Let the world know no glass

Can stand up to this bonny lass.

This, your power, my dearest shade.

For shade you are, you of dark despair.

Darkest heart and soul and mind.

Let every man and boy beware,

For with you they'll start to find

The rarest kind of holy beauty.

That wil be all of you they'll see.

Yet all you touch does break.

No matter how safe or strong.

Somehow, you always seem to make

Nothing last for very long.

Don't give her iron or steel,

To her who mens hearts did steel

Those men that you will tempt.

Those men of good mind and soul.

Those men are not exempt

From your dire and dreadful toll.

They'll discover you're love is fake.

They'll discover they're hearts idd break.
