(Can she make you happy?)

The romanticism of the city
Speaks of the beauty in the blur
Smudging lines
Undefine
Find
Some sanctity in your cigarettes
Fight off everyone including yourself
In the struggle of pining for company

(Where is the logic in all of this?)

Young girl
Running away down the neck of a bottle
Slipping away on the smoke
Escaping blacken’d lungs
Paper importance
Built on ice fragile and thin
There is no safety in speed
Water and fire pose equal threats

(Can we just be alright, please?)

Last request in frozen denim
Thawing paint and glow
Don’t break this solemn jaw
Mouth oh so capable
Create and destroy
Bloodied lips hold equal equations
The bite of wood in your throat cannot compare
Logic will never solve lost love.
So
Just
Giveup.

(Will you miss me?)
