Once I found a blackened dog
While wandering down my way
He licked me, then he bit me,
So I firmly told him "Stay"
He follwed me for quite some time
Then caught up with me
I kicked him, then he riped my heel
So I tied him to a tree.
I walked along for quite a way
thinking my follower lost.
A few more steps, and there he was!
Another bite was my cost.
At this point I threw up my hands
And said "What is it that you want?"
"For you to sit and liten
Before things go all wrong!"

So I sat upon the ground,
And was surprised to when all he hailed,
was "No matter how you try,
You can't escape your tail."
That dog is still here with me,
with other dogs besides.
And now i sit and listen
Before enduring all their bites!
