Gone were the days when they laughed with ease.
They drifted away with the summer breeze.
--
He saw his love when he looked in her eyes,
She flew away to the midnight sky.
He was not willing to back down from above,
So she flew away on the wings of lost love.
--
That was their fate their destiny,
That was how things were meant to be.

Fire and ice;
Hide and seek;
Night and day;
Dusk and dawn;
But the problem was, they only liked one of each.

I cared for him more than the skies above.
He said he loved me, he said he cared.
Why am I all alone now?
Afraid and scared.
--
She was my mirror my love.
I cared for her more than the skies above.
She said she loved me, she said she cared.
So why did she leave?
Destroying all the love we shared.
--

Of lost love and mistakes.
The jock and the drama queen,
Opposites do attract, so it seems.
