Anti-Valentines Day Poem

She loves me

She loves me not

It's Friday night and the dance floor is hot

You pull me closer and I like the way you move your hips

I find you sexier than self-control permits

It makes me what you closer than my shoulder brushed against your lips

Please want me back and yet I know that you don't

Tonight is an Oz and you'll forget me when you're home

Maybe it's the song or maybe the lights

But it's all superficial and it's only tonight

We do this every time and every time it's the same

I've known you for a year and all I know is your name

I'm just yours for the moment, plucking daisy petals in my brain

You're oh-so-hot, I'm kind of hurt

Although you promised not a thing

I guess it's just the way you hold me

In my ear, the way you sing

You ask for a kiss

I decline - Am I crazy?

How do I tell you I want more from you baby?

We dance for the moment and it's all fun and well

But it puts us in moods that deceive us like hell

I dance all against you and it's nothing but that

This would be something else if we weren't where we're at
