In Between Bliss

Oh whispering wind

You tickle my cheek

You make December bleak

Reminding me that I’ve sinned

Oh sweet blade of grass

You make my summer bed

You color my ankles red

Too bad Autumn comes too fast

Oh gray drop of rain

You help me to cry

Please don’t let me die

A billion drops of pain

Oh tiny flake of snow

Infinite, white, and innocent

You cover my dark lament

If only I had the time to know

Oh vibrant, golden sun

You warm my bitter bones

You sing songs of radiant tones

You light the path I run

Oh silent, silver moon

You quietly soothe the night

You engulf me in your silver light

The wind whispers your silent tune

I’m lost in between

In between bliss…
