Life twisters

The wind hits my body so hard

I’m sure if I were to lift up my arms

The wind would catch me and I would fly

I’d be caught up in the twister

Another twister of life

There I would be met with the what if’s and the what done’s

Where I would be and the paths I’m meant to take

I have so many questions

And oh I’m so confused

But maybe the twister in the air

Is less complicated then the one I’m taking on ground

For here I’m stuck in the yesteryears of memories

And the frowns that can’t seem to be turned upside down

Where the hurt is never ending

And pain just seems to abound

Surely if I were to hang on in this twister

I’d be sure to be here forever

But the one in the sky

If I just let go

Maybe I’ll be moving to somewhere else unknown

An uncertain hope yes

But a hope nonetheless

Is better than what I’ve come to expect

I’m going to do it

I’m going to let go

I’m spinning

And breathing in new scenery

I’ve moved on into another life twister
