Goddess of Angels

With hair so golden as woven silk,
She seems to all of finest ilk.

And O! the joy her smile brings,
Like heavenly sunshine on eagles’ wings.

In her eyes dances a hazel blaze,
Licking her lashes; leaving her unfazed.

Her graceful steps shame the doe,
You’ll rue the day you become her foe.

Her beauty unrivaled, her grace unbound,
With a voice that drowns all other sound.

A queen-- a goddess-- you’ll find no other,
That matches these words, as can my mother.

A/N: A gift to my mother for Mother's Day. Now all I have to do is worry about her birthday & Christmas... :sweatdrop: not enough brain power for all that poetry! Not enough money, either! ack...
