Running Red

A piece of glass pierces my vein,
Causing madness, anger, pain.
I was just going out, for a drive,
Now I’m fighting to stay alive.

The paramedics are here, pulling me out of my car,
Their voices are distant, they’re way too far.
They’re checking my pulse, as my blood runs red,
They’d try to save me; but I’m already dead.

A/N: For this little piece, I was (for once) very upset. My parents were forcing me to take driver's ed, something I was absolutely against. I wrote this "anti driving poem" as a way of rebelling, but as of now I do have my license..... just stay clear of my white Mazda van & you're fine.... really.... I think.... hehehe. ..
