Car Crash Down Memory Lane

Of drawing lines that intertwine and intersect
And form right-angles at
Junctions.

Blotches of charcoal ink
In stupendous square spoils,
Like messy patchwork on an oil painting
Dotting all over.

And with a pencil lead,
Hear the screeching cacophony of engines
And wires in the sharp collision.

The explosion created a hole.

After a confusing mess of lines and symbols
She asks, “Where am I?”

She can’t find it on the road map.
