What thief is worse then time?

Look at your hands, what do you see,

Old, wrinkled, liver spotted claws,

Or smooth hands like they used to be.

1

Do you want to run and dance?

Do all the things you used to do,

But this pain in your hip, and your dodgy knee,

Takes your dreams away from you.

1

What thief is as cruel as time?

Stripping family and friends away from you,

Leaves you standing all alone,

Shackles where you wings grew.
