A bird soars on the breeze,
Singing, flying, magic, free,
It sings a song of battles done,
Of magic woven, freedom won.

A bird sits in its narrow cage,
Wings clipped, tied down, no room to fly.
It stares out through its barred misery,
Stares at the birds, wants to be free.

It wants to soar upon the breeze
And Sing a song of freedom won,
But this is a caged bird’s misery,
It looks out and knows it can never be free.
