Again he sat there creating little masterpieces of his own. So simply conceived of paper, so beautiful the creation. Only in high school he already knew many different creations and had even created one of his own. The rose. What a better way to occupy yourself in school than to use the material you already use day to day to create something marvelous. Searching through an office he found the pot of gold, an entire box of computer paper. Immediately he began folding, ripping, bending, and forming his newest masterpiece. A paper heart now sat in front of him. He would give it to his girlfriend, because they had something special with these precious things. In fact, she had been the one to teach him. He sat there in a daze, wondering what to make next. He could make a little message in a paper blade / Frisbee combo. That had begun when he wrote one that said “You are a sunny honey my funny bunny”, they were limited to 8 words, for 8 pieces to the toy. She made these wonderful little treasures for him, as well. He had a sound collection in his basement, where he would do his homework. Her locker was almost flooding with those joyful things. Hearts, flowers, cootie catchers, cranes, claws, boxes, balloons, and a thousand other things. So simple a piece of paper, flat and rectangular, yet the amazing things that can be created by it. The miracles and connections that precede these wonderful origami creations are much more than he could imagine. So there he was, staring yet again at the paper before him, deciding it’s destiny…
