Mired in bureaucracy, the wheels turn slowly

Paperwork clogs the gears

Ponderous leviathan rumbles gently onward

-'-

Mowed down in its wake are heart-felt pleas

Appeals left behind that no one ever heard

And the bureaucratic machine moves ever onward

-'-

Steady in its course, the massive thing plows forward

The slings and arrows of outraged fortune not even a blip on its radar

Inertia holds true

-'-

According to the inverse square law,

Efficiency decreases exponentially as complexity increases incrementally

-'-

Life’s constant:

Paperwork to the power of infinity

-'-

The world may blow out in a crowning blaze of glory

Bureaucracy will soldier on forever
