White Nothing

White walls closing in,
shutting off realty;
Slowly fading out the world,
Melting it into emptiness.

Waves of swirling white,
Rippling round my feet,
Pouring into the expanse,
Filling it completely.

It is a paradox,
White lies upon white,
Absence enters presence,
‘Til I am yet am not.

White walls closing in,
Like the ones in my mind,
The ones that erase dreams,
And turn them to air.

Air that I yearn for,
That tired lungs burn for,
Fill me before I disappear
Into the white void.
