There’s a saying. Time flies when you’re having fun, so true. The time flew when I was in UK. I was in the UK with so many people I lost count. Maybe I should begin at the start where it would make more sense. Now where to begin, oh yes.
‘Jaimee, the plane leaves in 2 hours and you haven’t even finished packing’, my older sister yelled at me as I continued to throw things over my shoulder to see whether I could score them in the suitcase.
‘Yeah, yeah, I know’, I shouted back as I turned around and began to place the things I had missed into the suitcase.
‘Don’t yeah, yeah me, Tom has kindly given up his time for this, and you know how busy he is’, she said sternly as she went through my remaining clothes in my wardrobe.
‘Here’, I said handing her the necklace she had leant me nearly 3 years ago.
‘Why thank you’, she said sternly as I rolled me eyes.
‘It’s nice to be nice’, I chanted as she laughed irritably.
‘Here wear this’, she said as she laid the clothes out on my bed.
That’s what they looked like. I was like “What is she 1 crazy assed bitch?”
‘Um, no thanks Dylan, I’ll stick with what I’m wearing’, I said as pleasantly as I could.
This is what I was wearing. Yes if you haven’t guessed it yet. I’m a tom boy. Always have and always will be. No butt ugly sister of mine will change that.
‘Fine, your funeral…I mean loss’, she said as she zipped up my suitcase and helped me carry them down stairs.
‘I now have 1 hour and 55 minutes to go, I’m going to hang out with Jack and James for awhile’, I said as I headed for the door.
‘Um, you’re not going out, they can come here’, she said sternly with that motherly look on her face. I wasn’t about to argue with her as she never usually let’s them here.
‘Ok, cool’, I said as I picked up the phone and called them over.
‘You know we’ll miss you right?’ James said as we were watching LOTR 3.
‘Yeah course’, I said as Dylan walked in.
‘We have 10 minutes to get to the international airport’, she said as I stopped the movie, got up and carried my luggage out to the car with Jack and James in tow.
‘Are we allowed to come?’ they asked Dylan as she got into the car.
‘Yeah whatever just get in’, she shouted as we all got in, us three in the back while Dylan was in the front driving. We got there in no time and I was out of the car in the international airport with my luggage on the plane and me standing in front of 3 very important people in my life with sad faces.
‘I’ll keep in contact, you know that’, I said as I smiled widely.
‘Yeah, but it’s not the same’, Dylan said as I gave her a kiss and a hug.
‘It’ll have to do for atleast 3 months’, I said as I did the same to Jack and James.
‘Until I come back’, I said as Jack laughed, ‘What’s so funny?’
‘I remember when I went to Singapore you cried you’re eyes out’, I punched him on the arm playfully before walking for the gate.
‘It was a very emotional time, a time we shall mention to no-one but we’, I said strangely as I moved my finger to indicate the 4 of us.
‘Fine, we promise’, Dylan said as she crossed her arms.
‘Final boarding call for London airport’, a voice said over the P.A.
‘I have to go’, I said as I kept walking closer to the gate.
‘Bye’, they said as they stepped closer to the window.
‘Bye’, I said sadly as I gave the attendant my ticket and walked through the gate.
‘Excuse me, excuse me, can I please have a can of coke and some lunch’, I said indicating to my stomach as the flight attendant rolled her eyes and went to fetch my food.
‘Is there anything else I can get you, ma’am?’ she asked as I smiled.
‘Yes, can I please watch LOTR 3?’ I asked sweetly as she smiled falsely and walked away only to come back moments later to hand me the CD.
‘Is there anything else Ma’am?’ I laughed a little.
‘No thank you’, I said as she walked off to attend some one else. As she walked away I inserted the movie and skipped all the way to my favorite part, the part where Pippin (Billy Boyd) sings.
Home is behind,
The world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread,
Through shadow to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight,
Mist and shadow,
Cloud and shade,
All shall fade,
All shall….fade
I arrived at the airport not long after that although it really was 4 hours after that; I arrived that’s the point. I walked further into the crowd only to find a couple… This is them, holding a sign up with my name on it. Jaimee Lee Mortimer.
‘Hey’, I said as I walked up to them.
‘You’re Jaimee, I presume’, the girl said as I looked at her funny and nodded.
‘Yes’, I said as the guy smiled.
‘I’m Tom Felton and this is Emma Watson’, he said as I shook his hand.
‘Oh, I thought it was you, but aren’t you meant to have brown hair?’ I asked rudely as she laughed irritably like my sister did not long back.
‘Yes, but since filming is over till the next movie, I’m having it blonde’, she said sweetly although I could tell it was false.
‘Well, it suits you’, I said kindly. It really did suit her, but I don’t think she believed me.
‘Well thank you’, she said kindly, ‘We better go get your luggage’, she said as I nodded and smiled. Maybe she didn’t like me because I was from Australia, stereotyping bitch.
