Eat Lunch Alone
By: Lai
I'll bet there'll be no one waiting for you,
You'll take the taxi home,
When you get off of that airplane at two,
And eat your lunch alone.
No one loves you,
No one cares,
No one tangles
In your affairs.
She'll eat her lunch alone,
In an empty diner,
Nothing's waiting at home,
But a note left a busy writer.
"Sorry I couldn't make it,
I had something to do,
But I have to admit,
I don't care about you."
And you'll eat your lunch alone.
