Author’s Note: Hey!! Wow! You made it to the end! Congratulations!! So, as I mentioned before, this book was written for NaNoWriMo and I actually wrote it in 29 days – I had to finish one day early because I had to attend two rehearsals on the day the novel was due and I wasn’t sure I’d have time to finish it.

So a few things about it: I had a ton of fun writing it. When I finished it, I thought it was completely awful, but then I re-read it and I have come to the conclusion that it’s not half bad. ;; Even with what I’ve been calling “The Scene” in Chapter 5 – and let me say that it wasn’t my intention to ever write that, but I was so completely and horribly stuck that it just happened. And then again… and again… and again… because I was stalling for words. But thankfully I thought one graphic scene was enough so I did the whole “fade to black” thing.

And Chapter 16… ahh, Chapter 16. I had forgotten I was so sadistic to my characters. It shocked me since I wrote this book… what… 5 months ago? So I forgot all the dirty details about that. I think I have thoroughly earned my nicknames “Sadista” and “Miss Gruesome Gory.”

So the end… a little anti-climactic? I need to learn how to write “happy” endings. I think Tarin’s death was the most fun and the most sad for me to write. At the time, I was also listening to Evanescence’s “Hello” so with those two things combined I was almost on the verge of tears.

I think I made him a bit too young… but that was before I knew just what role he was going to play.
