Sweet One

You walk the halls with a shaking fear
The vicious whispers and calls echo in your ears
You couldn't take it anymore, could you?
Sweet One couldn't take the pain anymore

They leer and stare
What hurts more: the words or the looks?
Quiet judgment fills your eyes with tears
Sweet One couldn't take the pain anymore

Feeling helpless, Sweet One cries bitterly
You're the rag doll
Their toy of choice
Sweet One couldn't take the pain anymore

I'm sorry I didn't stop it
I'm sorry I couldn't do anything
I'm sorry I never spoke to you
Sweet One couldn't take the pain anymore
