A/N: this is a true story. lolz. My friend did it, and I thought it was cute.
“Get me some water, will you?” my brother, Sam, said lazily as he sat sprawled out on the couch downstairs, his hand glued to the remote for the TV.
Feeling generous, I got up and headed up stairs. I reached into the fridge and got a bottle of water. My mom, being a health freak, hardly ever bought pop or anything with a lot of sugar. So, we mostly drank water.
I turned around and accidently dropped the bottle. Rolling my eyes at my own clumsiness, I scooped it up — then suddenly got an idea.
Smiling, I tossed the water bottle towards the stairs. My mom, from in the living room, gave me a weird look, but did not make a comment. Still smiling, I plucked up the water, then rolled it down the stairs.
I skipped down after it and picked it up, then walked back to Sam, shaking the bottle in my hands feverishly.
Sam looked at me from out of the corner of his eye and held out his hand after asking, “What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” I said, my smile slipping into a grin. I handed him the water bottle. He looked down at it, then moved to open it.
My grin widened.
He turned the lid off, then took a sip.
“Damn it!” I cursed.
“What?” he gave me the raised eyebrow.
I looked at him in disappointment. “It didn’t fizz.”
