Slayer of God
In the First Darkness, when things began,
From the dawn of age till the creation of man,
The only One, both is and is not,
Was summoned through the Path of Sephirot.
Farther than when mankind knew it's fears,
Beyond the period of 10,000 years,
The time that we set food on this primordial mud,
The soil was tainted with our ancestors' blood.
The space cruiser, Eldridge, unwittingly goes,
To the deep astral planes which nobody knows,
But by unknown forces and god's guiding hand,
They were forced to crash on this forsaken land.
Now the people might as well have cried,
For their ship exploded and everyone died,
Except for a man and a woman who we see;
As the mother of all humanity.
As the sky was lit by a starlight shower,
These two were imbued with a special power
Though it might seem hopeful, this you shouldn't bet on,
For one was the savior, but the other the weapon.
Through the years they have stayed the same,
This strong willed youth and this pure-hearted dame
Though these astral beings should know their place,
They lived as members of the human race.
Until that fateful day when Fate intervened,
In the life of the child Death itself has weaned,
He summoned a persona from his life as a kid;
The slayer of god, otherwise known as "Id."
His fate was determined, but it was too late,
For his past was as dark as his unholy fate,
For those that he found he would laughingly kill,
Annihilating them with energy born of pure will.
O, slayer of god! What has fate decreed?
What plant of thine bidding will spring from thine seed?
For thy has chosen to kill and destroy
And treat human life as if a mere toy.
But thine must know how to control the power,
From dawn 'til dusk, until the fateful hour,
Thine must know how to master it whole,
Or risk it searing your very own soul.
The time will come, your own judgment day
Where nothing before you will stand in your way
For on the land where the ancients have trod
There awaits your final showdown with god.
