Time will tell
What is to become of the two of us
Love can't have ended, disappeared with dash
We lived through so much, it wasn't fake
Survived again, but who's to blame?

Time will tell
Of our stupid mistakes--we will fall
And we can't take back what was said by all
Trust, it seems was the missing key
Now friendship died; love will flee

Of out endless journey
Twisted lies poisoned us slowly
Near the end you named me unforgiving
You were nothing more than un-trustworthy

Time will tell
Of the secrets we hid
All those expectations of life, now take heed
And remember all our times
Were nothing more than big, fat lies

Time will tell
All that you meant to me
You were too blind to see the way I really feel
Never reacting, responding to your words
Should I hide it even now or scream it to the world?

Well, I hope one day you find your light
For once I believe it's worth the fight
Maybe one day we can make up for those times
Start again promising 'no lies'.
