-Black Pearl-
Feeling the cold glaze my skin.
This is a fight I cannot win.
Looking for someone to keep me warm,
Someone to keep me away from harm.
It is a black pearl that I’m looking for
Love being perhaps a simple folklore
with hope I still search for it.
But in the end deception hits
as I again am alone.
All pearls from my sea are gone.
I alone feel my skin crawl in the cold,
But this broken pain has become old.
I swim in my own tears
tormented by my own fears
hoping that black pearl falls from heaven
and I can choose one from seven.

Well, black pearls are supposed to be rare. That’s what love is to me, and don’t ask me about the last sentence. It just came out, when I read it I try to make sense of it and try to find a symbolism. So far all I can think of is that maybe, from 7 loves, I can choose one and keep it for the rest of my life. I don’t know, my poetry confuses me, at least my brain, my heart knows what it means it just doesn’t let on it much.
