Heh.. just something that popped into my head last night. Enjoy. ;)

CATCH IT NOW

Catch it now

It’s falling faster

Red, blue, green, yellow

Beautiful colours for beautiful stars

A small boy stands in the eye of his window

Looks to the skies and asks

Who will he be when he grows up?

But no one knows

And who is this God?

A little girl in a playground

Stops and stares at a stranger

What will he do when he gets caught?

He’ll lie

And say he didn’t know

An old man looks at old photographs

Grainy texture, black and white

Both withered and broken

He didn’t want to end this way

He didn’t know he’d die

A shattered woman weeps alone

Bruises and blood line her skin

But there’s no one to hear her cries

There is no God to answer her prayers

So what should one say to the little lost boy?

And how can the girl child be saved?

How can the old man live forever?

And how can the woman stop the pain?

Ponder this when you go to bed

And know the answer when everyone’s asleep

In the end, they’ll all have one thing in common

Everyone learns they are alone

Even me

Even you.
