Night Jewel

The moon is a jewel,
Luminous,
Encircled by darkness,
Unfathomable nocturnal depths.

A radiant gem,
Holding up the night-black velvet.
Surrounded by iridescent
Diamond adornments.

A lustrous opal,
Conveying inspiration,
Resplendent with mysteries just beyond reach,
Eternal, silent riddles.
