"The Fallen Soldier"
Marching towards courage
Creeping closer to valor
He dreams of becoming one with time
Hopes held high
Guided by false belief
He imagines his name uttered with admiration
But the dreams
Become evanescent in his mind
As he realizes the true reality of reality
Dust rises towards the stars
Blinded by a deafening noise
The last bomb is dropped from the crying clouds
Blood obscures his vision
The stench of decay lingers in the air
As he closes his eyes and blocks away all calamity
Another life wasted
Gone in just four years
The fallen soldier loses all memory of existence
