When you fall on your face

you can feel how the world spins like a top

it won’t stop

you don’t get up

you just lie on the ground

like the cigarette you threw there yesterday

cause you’re not

well enough

And you’re sick to your bones

and you want to go home

but there’s nothing there

worth seeing

So you stay where you are

slowly die all alone there in the dark

from the empty feeling

May your soul find comfort

from the cold that deadens

the nerves in your heart

and your finger tips

May your eyes be closed

by a gentle hand

and when you pass away

leave their love on your lips

So you’re dragged by a rush

of uncompromising current without hands

to grab onto

your wrists

And you don’t want to go

just to suffer through a death without a fight

not useless

not like this

And you can’t fight the tears

you’ve been holding for years

so you weep to empty

your burden

now that all’s said and done

you can finally go on with the plan

predestined

just for you
