Cry of Pain

Can you see me?
As I walk into the Nile
I feel myself drowning
with each and every mile.
Under the water no one can hear
and they’re too busy to see
that inside you’re dying
trying to be free.
Sometimes you find a lifesaver
but sadly soon it runs out of air
the one you once trusted, fails
and it feels like a stab made of flare.
You try to open your heart
to learn to love and feel
but the door is thrown in your face
and again your hopes are sealed.
No one really cares, they don’t try
and soon enough you stop caring
and start to ignore your own cries
finally your insides start tearing.
You try to find the cure
because it’s not the way you want to be
but now nothing in life is pure
least of all, me.

Ok, this poem I love, it came out exactly how I wanted, yet not so, it surprised me in some parts. The thing is that I was thinking of a lot of problems in my life, a specific few and joined them together. And it all shows in this poem. I can’t explain it or else it’ll be too long and right now I’m in a time limit. I have class in… 2 minutes?
