Darkness
Darkness
Thickly laid down upon the souls of millions
Choking the holy righteousness from their bodies
Self interest pollutes their minds
Make them as filthy as city streets
Families care for one another no more
Survival of the fittest kills all moral
Blood is thicker than water
But the haze of darkness beats both and
Chases the heart into a dark corner, tortures it
Shaping it to dark purposes
Even the earth can’t help but turn from the light,
Half of the world will always be shrouded in darkness and
Welcomed into the hearts of men
