I've never wanted children.

Never in my life.

And seeing as that's what I am,

I can truly understand why.

I am more than a handful,

That's what they say to me,

I wouldn't want me if I was them,

But they seem to love me to some degree.

I have fun with my folks,

And it seems they do with me...

So maybe it wouldn't be so bad,

To have a kid to bounce on my knee.

I've never wanted kids,

Not until this day,

But now that I think about it,

Maybe it would be okay.

Of course not now,

When I am so young,

But maybe in a future year,

Just after spring has sprung.
