Regretting you

Like a sip of sour vinegar

Mistaken for sweet sweet cider

Cuz outward appearances are deceiving

And some pretty things are nauseating

Pretty little boy with your snobby asshole boyfriend

The homophobic Republican

Claiming love for you, yet he controls your every move

Possessing your body, controlling your will,

It makes everyone watching ill

Did you know you're dead within?

Why aren't we friends anymore, again?

Oh, now I recall-

It's because I saw

And worried as I witnessed your fall

And those who see your secret

and refuse to keep it

Go straight off your friends list, never missed

Real friends support you - no matter what

Real friends pretend, and cheer when you screw up

So you dismissed people left and right

Replacing friends with him

Replaced your name and identity

In accordance with his whim

Yes, you're just a bit too young for him to be claiming you

But it's not even that, it's simply the fact

That he needed a child to tell what to do

It's creepy to me that it wasn't creepy to you

But what do I care?

You don't care about me

Our friendship is done with

Severed and bloody

Betrayal burns

Cuz it's never expected

And you can't wise up and learn

Without it screwing your perspective

Cuz they're not all like you

Who's not worth the paper where this is scrolled

Claiming we were best best friends, then acting so cold

Not worth the anger that you trigger

Cuz I have fishes so much bigger

I'm getting off my soap box

And I'm moving way beyond

Friendship over,

no cold shoulder,

no cruel wishes,

no ill will

Cuz you're just a stupid kid

And you're not even real
