A.N. This is actually words I made up to a Japanese song. I made them up because I wanted to sing along to the pretty song but I don’t understand a single word of Japanese. Thus “Feathered Darkness” was born. I’m thinking about writing a songfic on using this song. Wow this authors note is longer than I expected. Sorry.

Feathered Darkness

From the depths of deep blue pools

A red moon sails across the sky

And silently it falls

Oh these words that I have spoken

Are the dreams that every child has ever dreamt at night

No wonder that we are all

Searching for eternal light

That we cannot find here

In this world of darkness

My black feathered wings have been broken

And I cannot fly again

Will I never see the sky that was so blue?

Spread your wings and you can fly away

From disaster that will fall

Upon this word of darkness

That I cannot escape
