A/N: I had three poems all going at once. And of course only one seems good enough to post. No idea where it came from, but enjoy!

My Angel

Death comes swiftly on silent feet

But I tremble from fear, awaiting the time that we will meet

Hearing you creep towards my door

Is this real, a demon from folklore?

No, never demonic, though you love to do wrong

You begin to sing, such a beautiful song

Wicked angel, devoured by the night

But you wish to seek out the light

No soul can be complete without its counterpart

Missing the other half of their heart

Let me be the one to keep you warm

And maybe you’ll help me brave the storm

Mischievous ice blue eyes see straight through me

Breaking my walls and allowing me to truly see

I’ll never leave your side, my love

And I see that you remain pure, like the loveliest dove

We can leave everything behind and fly off into the skies

Where there is no more pain and no more lies

Finally finding our salvation from this Hell

Freedom is ours, so long as we never tell
