As the Autumn gaze looks down upon me,
I stare into the night with eyes so daunting,
Chasing the dreams of midnight glory,
Eating the chains of visions gory,

Knowing it has passed me by
In the days that walked beside
The still waters of a peaceful hue
Into this endless love of morbid curiosity

And the moon will remain in sift and sway
Beneath the trembling thoughts astray,
Bringing to close a life without means in Day
Living the story once in good and now in gray

For tomorrow brings nothing more
But the Mozart of inequity,
The symphony composing,
Into this endless attraction of what is lost.
