Brave young child

You bear the mark of one thousand trials

Lift the world’s burden upon your shoulders

What cruel fate led you to such a state?

Men must learn to face their sorrows

But still upon a child’s breast they set

That weighted stone of crimson agony

Too much for the heart to withstand

Fear for your innocence, fear for your youth

This horrid feat should have died away

Yet still upon a child we set

Such sad tasks both dull and bleak

Fare well on your journey, my companion

You will conquer these fears which consume

Because you are a valiant child

Whose true beliefs are love and life

You are not yet tainted with savage victories

Foul lies or pleasantries

And when the time has come for you

To shift this horror upon another

Brave young child

Remember this:

You are not alone
