One Winged Angel
His two human like feet barely touched the rainbow water as he landed upon the mythical land of dreams and lights. The young man’s human formed body stood regally just above the water’s deep and fluttering ripples dashed away from his feet. His pale blue skin glowed under the dim light of the crescent moon. His features seemed to standout more and the rainbow water gave off an eerie glowing with each delicate step he took. The young man’s blue face looked menacing. His right eye had a scar on it from an old battle and the other was set in a glare. The color of his left eye was a mystery to all, for it was forever changing. His nose seemed a little small for his face while his ears were elongated Elvin ears. The most frightening thing about his face though, was his smirk. Two long sharp canines stuck out from the evil smirk telling everyone he was hungry for one thing…blood. He still stood regally on the colorful water as if waiting for something. His bangs were a light gray and then as you got to where his ears parted his hair there was long white hair. Long flowing snow, white hair that went to the back of his knees. The wind picked up and blew his hair to the right of him. He did not seem to mind though. His pale blue shoulders slowly morphed into gray feathers, which continued down the whole length of his arm. His arm was in the shape of a wing, the young man’s hands were large and out of proportion with normal human hands. The five large feathers appeared to be fingertips at the bottom of the wing-like arm. These five feathers were a bit darker than the rest of the gray feathers. On the left arm, just above where the feathers began to make the large wing, was a gray feathery armband. Covering his torso area were the same gray feathers that were on his arms. These feathers began just a little bit under the armpits and ended in random places just above his hipbone. Three random feathers on his left side stuck up from the top of his breast to his collarbone. From his hipbone down were long flowing royal purple feathers that stopped at his knees, almost like a skirt. Any one that would maybe catch a fleeting glimpse of him might say he was a cross dresser. That was, if they caught a glimpse of him, and lived to tell the tale. The one feature that could not be ignored on the young man was the distinct fact that he only had one wing. This one wing was on his left side. The wing was half-way folded so only half could really be seen. On the outer part of the wing, were midnight black feathers. All that could be seen was black. The dark black went from the longest feather all the way to the top of the wing. Along the wing’s top bone, these black feathers continued. On the inside however, these dark feathers only continued along the bone and then about a forth of the way down the wing, they morphed into the royal purple feathers. Another forth of the width of the wing was taken by these feathers and then, for the rest of the wing, was white feathers. These white feathers were opposite the dark feather on the outside of the wing, so no black feathers could be seen where the white feathers were placed. The white feathers continued down until his hip where the shortest of them stopped. He glanced around once more to see if there was anything in the land of the mystics to eat but alas, he found nothing. With a sigh, his one wing lifted him off the ground and carried him into the night sky.
