Twilight

Who is she that in the twilight
Wanders 'midst the marshland cedars
'Mong the leafless, lonely cedars
Softer than a waning moonbeam?
Why does she, the bowed one, wander
So among the barren cedars
Over land by dead leaves covered
Where no star, no moon shines ever?
Who is she who, silken mantled,
Mantled with a mist of teardrops,
Wanders in the darkened twilight
And her walking leaves no footstep?
