I Fall For You
Author:
keyne89 PM
When I relive my memories, I fall for you. Each and every day. So marriage was a big promise, especially when we were five. Love and Reflection. More or less inspired by the sweet melody of lifehouse's new album.

and you and I were dreamers
this really couldn't last
let's forget the plans we had
and just relive the past

maybe marriage was a bit much
when we were only five
a big promise, a bigger fool
to think it'd stay alive

now it's just a memory
and you and I are gone
living seperate lives, to say
we've handled this all wrong

maybe it's only teenage love
destined to crumble beneath our feet
but it doesn't seem to be
when we least expect to meet

I believe I am a dreamer
but are you a dreamer too?
are you willing to call it that?
was that all it meant to you?

when you spoke my name in solace
when you called me on the phone
when I was having problems
you were there to take me home

so marriage is a ways away
more so since we were young
but in your eyes, I see a light
as if a song has yet been sung

habits are hard to break
but yours, to me, are more
and a habit years down the line
is very different from before

you're the only boy I've ever known
to make me weak, but so strong
and since we've lived our seperate lives
I've been thinking, we took this wrong

a confidence most don't feel
one I forgot I had
was given me by you
and brought me blessings, good and bad

I was not a dreamer
nor were you, to say
when I relive these memories
I fall for you, each day
