I Can’t Tell Who’s Colder

The house is freezing cold

I can’t feel my toes or my nose

My fingers are numb as I type

And my skin is covered in goose bumps

But at least I’m devoted

Unlike those who shall remain nameless

I don’t want any of your poor excuses

I’ve heard all of them at least twice

And now you’ve proposed to her

A crazy love-struck boy in high school

What a stupid thing to do…

It’s so romantic.

That could have been me

That should be us

But I still hate you… sort of…

You cheating, dreamy bastard

I can see my own breath

I can see you kissing her instead of me

I can hear the clattering keys

I can hear you whisper her name instead of mine
